About the Africa Tech Talent Support Project

The Africa Tech Talent Support Project is a free, global initiative open to anyone interested in attending. It brings together some of Africa’s most knowledgeable and influential individuals to inspire the next generation of technology and cybersecurity leaders.

It commenced in Feb 2025, and brings monthly online sessions from global leaders, providing career advice and insights on topics such as skills development, training and certifications, and practical guidance for launching a cybersecurity career.

Expert perspectives span diverse fields, including digital forensics, non-IT business leadership, cybersecurity leadership, risk management, awareness and culture, and academia.

Participants will gain enhanced knowledge and significantly expand their professional networks. While many programs focus solely on practical skills and technical content, this initiative uniquely equips participants with strategic insights and a fresh approach to career development. It is ideal for anyone seeking to start, accelerate, or elevate their career in technology or cybersecurity.

Grant Hughes facilitates the initiative, with support from the ISC2 Cape Town Chapter.
