As CISO of the Western Cape Government, Deidre’s primary function is to continuously improve the cybersecurity management ecosystem and to support the digital transformation strategy of the provincial government.

As an Advisory Board member, Deidre will impart knowledge and expertise with other security professionals, offer strategic insight, and assist with the execution of the chapter’s strategy. Deidre is passionate about improving the local cybersecurity community, addressing the cybersecurity skills shortage, and contributing to a safer cyberspace.
